Economic And Commercial Cooperation
The Economic and Commercial Section is responsible for promoting the economic relations between Uganda and China. Issues handled include external resource mobilization for Uganda’s development, attracting foreign direct investment, promoting the export of Uganda’s products and creating awareness of Uganda as a tourism destination. The section also maintains dialogue with authorities to promote the interests of Ugandan businesses, assisting them in their dealings with enterprises in China.
The Economic Section works closely with other units to realize the benefits from embracing opportunities brought by implementation of the outcomes of the FOCAC and related initiatives that promote win-win cooperation.
