Military and Defence Cooperation

Military and Defense cooperation between China and Uganda was established in 1986, the growing collaborations led to the establishments of the Office of Defence Attaché (DA) of the Embassy of Uganda, Beijing was established by authority of the Ministry of Defence (MOD) in 2012. The Office serves the interests of the Uganda Government by promoting national defence and security issues between Uganda and China.Major areas of cooperation include Capacity Building and support towards modernizing of defence infrastructure among others.
