UGANDA EMBASSY PARTICIPATES CHINA-YIWU IMPORTED COMMODITIES FAIR 2018
The Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in Beijing participated in the recently concluded China-Yiwu Imported Commodities Fair where it run three booths together with Uganda Coffee Development Authority and other private Ugandan and Chinese companies involved in exporting Ugandan products into China from 5th to 9th May 2018.
The fair organized by the Yiwu Municipal People’s Government offered foreign Countries/ enterprises a platform to market and promote their products in the China market. Uganda booths showcased Coffee, dried fruits including mango, pineapple and papaya plus Shea butter and handmade crafts
The platform was also used to promote tourism and Investment with videos playing on screen and publicity materials given out throughout the 4-day event.
